our story

The Montessori Blueprint grew from a simple belief: every child deserves to fall in love with learning, because learning is fun.

I'm Sneha Dasgupta, a designer and toddler mom. Growing up, I watched my mom spend decades teaching in Montessori classrooms, building her own curriculum from scratch, and eventually opening her own school around it. I saw what authentic Montessori education looks like when it's done with care, thoughtful sequencing that lets one lesson build on the next, and playful themes that pull kids in and make them want to learn more.

When my son was lucky enough to start attending my mom's school, I started getting pictures of him learning with excitement on his face. The whole class gathered around the circle, fully engaged, because it wasn't just a lesson, it was part of a story they were excited to keep following.

I knew the curriculum at Bright Bee Montessori was special. But when I started looking at what else is sold as "Montessori," I noticed it borrows the vocabulary without the substance, a shelf of disconnected activities, not a real curriculum.

I watched my mom solve that problem the hard way, over decades. So I set out to bring that same depth of thinking, and that same fun, to more classrooms, not just the lucky few who find a program that gets it right.

That became The Montessori Blueprint: a living, seasonally-updated curriculum built from my mom's decades of real Montessori work, sequenced around themes kids genuinely connect to, and scaled with design-led solutions for clarity and ease of use. It's a curriculum built to keep learning child-led, so it feels like something kids want to do, not just something they're taught.
